Koni introduces FSD, the first no-compromise shock absorber in the world during 2006. A revolutionary new technique which combines the benefits of firm and comfortable suspension in a single perfect shock absorber. Firm for sporty driving on even road surfaces. Comfortable for a smooth ride on uneven road surfaces.

Image HOW DOES IT WORK?
A special valve has been added, which controls an oil flow parallel to the one going through the piston rod . This parallel oil flow is closed by the FSD feature, giving a rise in damping force almost linear to the time that the piston is moving in one direction. In reality this mean that when the damper is moving slowly i.e for cornering the damper forces are high, and when the damper is moving fast i.e pothole/uneven road the damper forces are low. this gives a better all road ride and handling. 		Image 

FSD is particularly effective for vehicles with either very low profile or run flat tyres.
The kit availble for Mini One, Cooper and Cooper 'S' models is suitable for models made between 2002 & 2006. it is designed to work with original oe springs, but will also work with good quality  lowering springs up to 25mm lower.
