During the winter many people have been involved in the preparation of four very special vehicles for participation in the Dutch Supercar Challenge and the FIA GT4. Kroymans Retail Group has formed Kroymans Racing Team, and this season they will perform on the race tracks with three Aston Martin Vantage N24’s and a Corvette C6 GT4. KONI supports them in their races for victory. All vehicles in which the team will race have been mounted with KONI race dampers.  

On April the 9th the Corvette C6 GT4 has officially been presented on the track of Zandvoort, in the presence of Allard Kalf, presenter of RTL Autowereld. The first race of the spectaculair vehicle has taken place on April the 20th on the Silverstone track. Danny van Dongen has been able to occupy the second place at the end of the race, which is a first win for the Corvette C6 GT4. Rogier Kroymans took the steering wheel in the second race, and with this he has survived his racing debut. Both drivers have shown that a lot can be expected this racing season. 

Danny van Dongen is very pleased with his racing debut in the Kroymans Racing Team. “Of course, it is a great feeling to win a stage place in the first race. Mainly, because we drive in a new developed car for this racing class, which is also a new class for us. The Corvette has performed excellent the entire weekend. I could only dream of this result.”

 The next race of Rogier Kroymans and Danny van Dongen will take place on June the 1st at Spa-Francorchamps. This will be the first participation of the Corvette C6 GT4 in the Dutch Supercar Challenge.
