| Koni have been involved in motor sport for over 50 years, starting in 1955 with a very small range of racing dampers. 2 Years later in 1957, Koni entered the Formula One scene where there were a number of teams running on Koni suspension for the first time. This proved to be a great step in Koni history as we have had a presence in Formula One ever since. |  |
1971 Koni won their first Formula One chamionship with Tryell-Ford, many more titles were to follow, and we continued to have Formula One success during the seventies and eighties winning a total of 13 titles with different teams. It's not just in Formula One where Koni have had success, we have also been involved with Formula Ford, F3, touring cars, GT series, Indy championshiop and of course Le Mans. 1995 saw Koni equipped Ford Mondeo's win both the World Touring Car championship and the Indy Car championship. This was followed in 1996 with the Brtish Touring Car title. |
 | For 2007 Koni have an impressive presence in racing worldwide. Koni dampers, using FSD technology, will be used by the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team in the Formula One World Championship, the whole of the GP2 world series and Koni will also be a main sponsor of the F3 Euroseries for the second year running. Add to that many smaller championships such as the Seat Leon Supercopa, the BMW 130i challenge and a vast number of club racers, it will be a very busy season for Koni Racing |
